A beautiful Alaska wedding. Or was it Middle Earth? Ingredients to mix: Dad as the wedding singer. Irish whiskey. Evil twins. Karaoke. Medievil theme. And last but not least: A deep fryer. Summertime in full swing here.

Sometimes hiking isnt all fun but you do it anyways… because its amazing in spots and waves along the way. Sometimes the best and most rewarding thing about a hike is the breathe you can take when its over. Sometimes you go hiking with your “girlfriend” who just cheated on you, didnt tell you, and looking back your really glad her feet were miserable the whole time.

 A shameless rip-off…But I prefer throwback. But how often does the groom have a sword…and what do you do with it? Camel punching awesomness. Thats what.

This is my friend Jeff. He likes bees. I like bees alot more after playing with them. They are incredibly gentle, complex, and the masterminds behind my favorite food.

 12 hrs for a hot bath and a good car-sleep.

     Slightly less mirrory in the rain…but beautiful nonetheless. My hat goes off to the bride, groom, and family for making this a blast despite the less then perfect weather and DJ D-bag. Maybe the booze helped. Alaskans know how to have a good time. Thanks guys.

How did I go for so long never trying whale meat or eskimo ice cream? This was my first wedding in AK and it could not have been a more authentic experience. Everyone was super friendly and the groomsman were down for whatever and didnt mind wearing the obnoxious sunglasses I brought for the “Reservoir Dogs” set up.  The families of both the bride and groom were of native Alaskan descent so the gastronomic treats were incredibly exotic to me. It was awesome…Thanks guys.

A short but sweet road trip down the Kenai Peninsula with incredible food, drink, and people…oh and the most breathtaking sunsetting on the Chugach’s ever. I love AK.
