A heated conversation.

PortlandChildren love animals because Humans inherently do… but we get busy…we forget. But only because they still call in the distance.  When we remember, it will not be anything other then bitter. The sweet is still clinging to life on the outskirts of the noble agendas. In the back of our minds, and maybe even our yards is still the hoot of the owl and vibrant pulses coming through a loaded fishing pole. But my kids may not ever hear a real wood owl or feel the strength of a trout with a bloodline millions of years old. But they will hunger for something they cant quite describe. Something they wont find in the angular halls of their soft and balanced lives…something Grandpa cant quite speak of in his stories without  staring out of a window…looking for something he know should be there.PortlandPortlandPortland
