My first maternity shoot. I dont know what else to say…at least it was short? Fortunately Leigha and her boy were pretty relaxed about it and it was a nice place for portraits. What would make this more exciting hmmm…then I found 20 dollars!yay!DSC_4723DSC_4706DSC_4688Happy trails

Some love and some shotty’s…engagement “shoot”

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

As they say in Boston, this shit was ”wicked cool”. Goosebay: abandoned but still bustling with activity and muzzleblasts. Jess & Andy were so rad and completely open to being sprayed with copious amounts of milk. Good people. I suppose nothing is faux pas for Kaptive…plus if your in Alaska I think you have to shoot things. Its almost mandatory.2%Lifes a blastJess N AndyFungunJess N AndyJess N AndyJess N AndyJess N AndyJess N AndyJess N Andy

C n D…Good times and great oldies… It would have been hard to have more fun with such good people. Matter of fact I didnt really feel like a photographer so much as another guest. And the luck! 1 week of rain and on the day it mattered: sun at its best. Note to self: Inebriated bridesmaids make for hilarious photos. Many thanks to Cassie and Dustin and all of their friends and family for such a great time…and to whoever brought the model T: Hell ya. Iv always wanted to photograph a beautiful bride and badass ride at once. Someone had the bright idea of wrapping salmon in bacon…that was awesome too…pure genuis actually.C n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n D C n DC n D C n DC n DC n D C n DC n DC n DC n DC n D C n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n DC n D

Cpt. Cook and some stowaways.

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

L n KHawaiin natives offed Mr. Cook on his last voyage. Why you ask? Because he looks mean, thats why.L n KIts nice when your client works at the venue and you can shamelessly run amok a maze of old teak and paintings for fabulous imagery. The Cpt. Cook hotel is one of the few joints downtown that doesnt feel cookie-cutter. Its got class and although I dont usually dig low-light ballrooms and carpeted banquet rooms this was an exception. Gorgeous.  Kyle and Lorena were more a pleasure and the families do a damn good conga-line.L n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n KL n K
